Puppy buyer email sequences that convert

Email sequences for every stage of the breeder buyer pipeline. From first inquiry through pupdate request, word-for-word.

Most breeders lose more sales to the inbox than to their website. A buyer emails about a litter. You reply four days later. They bought from someone else. Or you forget to follow up after the deposit, and the contract never gets signed.

Email sequences solve this. Here's the map of what should fire when.

Stage 1: New inquiry received.

Within 15 minutes of form submission, an email goes out. Warm but businesslike. "Thanks for your interest. Here's what happens next. Expect a response within a business day." This removes buyer anxiety and sets expectations.

Stage 2: Application received.

Once a buyer fills out the full application, a confirmation email with review timeline. "We review all applications within 3 business days. You'll hear back from us either way." Buyers who think their application disappeared go buy from a breeder who confirms receipt.

Stage 3: Application approved.

"Congratulations, your application is approved. Here's the next step: a 20-minute call to discuss your preferences and upcoming litters." Drive them to the phone immediately. Phone calls convert dramatically better than email threads.

Stage 4: Deposit received.

"Deposit received for [puppy name]. Contract will arrive within 24 hours. Here's a preview of what's in it so nothing surprises you." Transparency reduces deposit cancellations.

Stage 5: Contract sent.

"Your contract is attached. Sign digitally by clicking [link]. Questions? Reply to this email." Make signing the path of least resistance. Buyers who get a PDF they have to print and scan cancel more often.

Stage 6: Pickup or ship scheduled.

"Your pickup is scheduled for [date]. Here's what to bring, what to expect, and how the day will go." Remove every possible friction from pickup day.

Stage 7: Puppy delivered.

Within 24 hours of pickup, a "welcome home" email. First 48 hours guide. "Here's what to expect. Call me if anything comes up." Buyers who feel supported talk about you.

Stage 8: Pupdate request, day 30.

"It's been a month. Send me a photo and how it's going? I'd love to see." You get the photo for your website. They feel valued.

Stage 9: Testimonial request, day 60.

"You've had [puppy] for two months. Would you be willing to leave a quick review on Google and send me a testimonial for the site?" This is the single highest-leverage email in the sequence.

Every one of these should happen automatically. Not when you remember. Not when you have time. Every time.

Our platform runs this sequence for every breeder we work with. Not a theory. A shipped product running on real kennels right now.
